Josh is desperate to get back his wife, Nina. He turns to a new technology that allows users to re-live a difficult moment in hope of learning important lessons. Impatient for results he soon discovers that Rewind therapy is not the magic fix he hoped for and there are those who would put this tech to a more sinister use?

Writing is cheaper than (more) therapy, and self reflection in a time where technology is ever present in our lives and intertwined with the functioning of our selves, brought Mikel to create a world where technology is introduced to the core of our being, our memories. Through their films, Diana and Mikel are building a relatable sci-fi dystopian universe that feels just a few brilliant innovations away. In Subscribed they confronted our dependance on AI and the commoditization of our lives. Now, in The Rewind they invite the audience to consider the sanctity of their own minds.
